-Sort fruits and vegetables by color, size, weight.
-Identify what part of a plant we eat - roots, stems, leaves, flowers, fruits, seeds. Identify fruits or vegetables that fall into these categories and sort into groups according to their attributes.

-Using animals sheets (animal pictures page 1, picture page 2, picture page 3, picture page 4), color animals seen during Nature Adventures; graph students' favorite animal, identify diurnal/nocturnal animals, sort/classify according to number of legs. Identify animals - amphibian, insect, reptile, bird, fish, or mammal. Identify each animals' habitat - cut animals out, draw and color habitat - add animal.
-Discuss wetland habitats. Draw a picture of wetland - include animals and plants found within.
